CRSF Outreach
The CRSF strives to communicate with all our partners and stakeholders regarding the latest scientific and applied information about sustainable forests. Through conferences, workshops, publications, online and other media we are committed to both delivering and receiving knowledge to better understand our forested landscape.
CRSF’s YouTube Channel hosts playlists of webinars, field tours, and forest-related research efforts. Out Addressing Forest Climate Change in Maine playlists include topics related to forest adaptation and change, forest management options, wildlife impacts, forest operations, and management implications for both large and small forest landowners.
CRSF’s Munsungan Endowment Fund supports outreach and education projects that educate the public about forest resources in Maine. The Munsungan Endowment supports the FCCI Webinar and Field Tour Series that has reached hundreds of interested forest professionals and the public since 2020.
The Eastern CANUSA Forest Science Conference was developed to provide a regular venue for communications among forest managers, forest scientists, policy makers, students, natural resource professionals, and others interested in forest resource issues from both sides of the Canadian/US border.
Workshops & Conferences
The CRSF organizes and hosts several workshops, conferences and other events each year. Through these events we communicate directly with our stakeholders, research partners and the public
