CRSF has fully embraced the land grant university mission of research, education, and service. In terms of research, CRSF continues to led on multiple stakeholder-led research efforts including the Cooperative Forestry Research Unit (CFRU), Center for Advanced Forestry Systems (CAFS), Northeastern States Research Cooperative (NSRC), and the National Science Foundation Track 2 project entitled INSPIRES. CRSF has grown significantly in its capacity and overall impact over the past four years. This document summarizes successes and challenges accomplished on multiple fronts, including research, outreach, and education.
Highlights Despite the shutdowns associated with the global pandemic, CRSF programs and scientists continued to pursue forest-related research and produce significant results. Output for CRSF researchers include 16 journal articles, 39 presentations/meetings, 8 research reports, 5 theses, 7 media-related publications, 45 videos.
