In this special bonus to our webinar series, panelists John Daigle, Professor of Forest Recreation Management, and UMaine SFR PhD students Tyler Everett and Emily Francis will discuss the cultural and ecological significance of Brown ash; vulnerabilities from climate change, emerald ash borer, and poor forestry practices; and the alignment of ash resiliency and climate adaptation through science-based management for climate and EAB. The panelists will make use of numerous attendee poll questions to help improve development of an ash survey instrument for landowners and foresters.
